  We agree with the poor reviews. We heard of this place in a farm tour pamphlet. Many preserves, but they appear to be non-local and mass-produced. High fructose corn syrup is the main ingredient. There are many knick-knacks. Expensive, imported low-quality house decorations. We were really put-off by the bathroom rules - $10.00 prepaid purchase per person or a $2.00 service fee for each user. No animals allowed, but their dog roams the store.

  All of these reviews, positive and negative, correspond to my experience. The first two times we went there, we were annoyingly lectured about the fact that the bakery is more than a toilet rest stop. (Since they are out of the way, I'm sure they get more than their share of people stopping only for that purpose. And they've probably had some bad experiences from non-customers' use of the bathrooms.) That said, Rosabella's apple pie is the best I've ever eaten, and the pumpkin tarts are unique and delicious and worth the drive AND giving a little thought to how to make your experience there positive. On our most recent visit, I went out of my way to make it clear that we were there to sit down and have pie and coffee. We ate first, had a pleasant conversation with the owners and another customer, and then asked to use the restroom with no problem at all. I agree that lecturing the customer is not the preferred way of running a business, but get a broader view, folks, and don't take every annoying personality quirk so personally. The pies are unique and wonderful. Don't miss this experience.
